Ingram has been a huge disappointment for the saints throughout his career, and there is no argument there. Yes, this is his best year, but let's be real, it shouldn't be hard to be able to run well in the saints pass happy offense. Henry was supposedly the best back in the country last year...but he is a solid #2? Are there any other rookie rb's doing anything in the NFL? Op is right, it is obvious bama has some good juice. Lsu needs to get it.

Edit: Merry Christmas everyone.

Elliot, for starters

TR, you're right. Absolutely right. TR has been terrible and shown off a terrible work ethic to boot.

Ingram, I can see maybe a disappointment depending on what your expectations were when he came to the Saints. Personally, I think he's doing pretty well considering what the Saints do on offense. Sure, he won the Heisman and the expectations do come with that but I still would not call him a bust.

[Edit] - thought some more on it. Yeah, Ingram's a disappointment no doubt. He's having a good year though. If not for this year, I might be more inclined to inch towards a bust.

Henry is just getting started though and no one is built to withstand NFL punishment like he is. I think he'll do well once he gets featured more.

He has had a good year. Great gets thrown around so easily. He averages 62 yards a game and has 5 touchdowns in 15 games.

Absolutely, good is ingram this year. Greatness he isn't even close to what LSU has produced relative to RB's since 2000.

It's really simple. The NFL calls holding no matter what team is playing.

I forget that the SEC refs are also officiating all the playoff and NC games Bama plays in too.

Or is your theory that they pay refs from other conferences too? God these "blame the refs" fans are some of the worst.

So receiving yards and tds just don't count? I see you also choose to ignore what I posted earlier. Over the past 3 seasons he's in the top 10 in yards from scrimmage and total touchdowns by runningbacks, with significantly less touches than most of the rest in the top 10 (all praise to David Johnson).

Anybody who calls him a bust or below average is executing their lsu bias against him or hates him because of what the saints gave up to get him, or most likely, some combo of the two.

Ingram isn't a bust, just an average NFL running back. Still too early to declare Henry a bust. TR a bust for sure. Compared to Jeremy Hill and and Todd Girly, I think Henry will be like Ingram...average at best. For a 1st round pick, Ingram has under-performed to be delicate about it. He is playing like a mid round draft pick.

BTW, what was the little bama bitch so angry about in the Cardinals game? Did anyone ever get to the bottom of why he was so butthurt that the Hightower scored a TD? It seemed like he was more worried about maybe financial incentives for TDs scored. He should've have been more worried about that from the beginning of the season.

In the NFL, specifically the Saints or Cowboys I like ex-Alabama players if they are good. Cowboys have McClain(LB). Ingram is ok, but lets be honest, he didn't exactly hit the ground running, no pun intended.

Bama has found a way to juice that either can't be detected or their sampling program is not monitored very closely. I would love to see the NCAA show up with a sampling crew and run a gamut of tests from anabolic steroids to cocaine. Somebody is pissing in cups and giving blood samples other than the players.
