Nuclear is cleaner and more efficient than fossil fuels for starters. Solar is an incredible technology and has made remarkable strides in the last 5 years. Fusion should obviously be pursued but who knows where that will go. Solar is the future.. may as well buckle up and get used to it. Will be a happy day when the big oil giants fall.

Nukes are great, but they don't have the secondary benefits of fossils.
Solar and wind are like some kind of bad joke. Their only practical use is in the homestead/commune setting.
