Was it him or his brother that had a mustang and got caught speeding on Hwy 30 - doing well over 100mph and he told the trooper he was burning out the bad gas?

Yep. I played with the Jones twins in middle school. Tackling Leroid was like a superball hitting a brick wall. I didn't play football in high school, but played with both of them on the basketball team.
I spoke with Leroid at the 40th Baker high reunion a week or so before the great flood. He was a kind and humble soul, waiting for a heart match. I was sad to hear he lost his last race. But when I knew him, he always ran to win. Godspeed, my friend.
