Simmons was misused all year long. Quarterman had no business even seeing the court in certain games. It was painfully obvious he was forcing the issue. I witnessed it live and in color multiple times.
Which takes us to the other issue of depth.

Playing a guy with that ability to pass and create at the 4 just so Quarterman can chuck ill-advised early shot clock threes was so fricking stupid.

It was obvious that TQ wanted to play hero ball and show simmons he was just as good and it was lsu's downfall.
