Coach C runs an offense that at some point feature 3 rbs at a time. Cam Akers could see himself on the field early in this package and oh boy how good would a backfield with both Guice and Akers look!

Akers can go to FSU and be the main man day 1. And be Taking over for a heisman candidate type of player. That's the biggest hurdle for us to climb.

They have some RBs over there too now. And two highly ranked kids in this class

The situations are pretty much the same at each school IMO. LSU is closer to home

They have Patrick Jaques there who is just a sophmore and was also a 5* coming out of Highschool. Not a shabby rb himself.

Our first team tailback was a first team All American last year.

Our backup tailback was the SEC running back of the year this year and a likely first team All American had he started all season. Sounds like a big hurdle for FSU to climb.

In truth very similar situations. Does he want to play closer to home in the tougher SEC or the weaker ACC top to bottom. If he likes the hiring of Canada, and he likely will, he is LSU bound.

Why say that when you have no idea what they have? They have some highly recruited kids there too.

I agree - he will get plenty of play in Canada's offense. Canada could even use some Wildcat with Akers and Guice (Akers taking the snap).

Ask him what stage he prefers to play on:

2015 Avg Home Attendance:
SEC:
3. Texas A&M - 103,622
4. LSU 102,004
5. Alabama 101,112

8. Georgia 92,746
9. Florida 90,065
12 Auburn 87,541
16 S Carolina 78,822
21 Arkansas 67,236
23 Missouri 65,120
26 Miss. St. 61,784
27 Kentucky 61,295
67 Vandy 32,134

ACC:

What makes you think Akers would be the man at fsu day 1? I definitely don't think so. He's probably smart enough to know he will have to earn his place where ever he goes.

I think Akers has said he doesn't want to be in a system where he is looked at as "the guy" his first year because he has been playing QB so much lately and he wants a year of just practicing at RB.

Supposedly Akers has some reservations around Juluke being on staff after the bowl game.

Honest question. Why would Juluke not be on the staff after the bowl game? RB coach is basically just a made up position for recruiting purposes, and Juluke is deeply embedded in NOLA, LSU's most important recruiting territory. Why would there be any thought of getting rid of him? Does he want too much money? Does O have some other guy in mind with deep connections to NOLA?

Unless there is some major animosity between O and Juluke. I can't see any reason why LSU would/should get rid of JJ. He's a great recruiter and very well respected in The High School ranks.
