re: CRP Timber Value

Most don't put land into CRP for the timber. They do it to get the annual payments from the program and to make the land more beneficial for wildlife and therefore hunting. Between the annual payments and what some people lease it our for per year, I know some guys getting around $150 or more per acre per year.
