That is the one thing I differ from you.

If my kid gets into Harvard or Priceton, that is on me, because he could not pay the 70,000k for it and yes, it is worth it.

So I would be more open to paying the kids school.

Not trying to tell you how to raise your kids, I just have a different view, absolutely no disrespect intended.

A little known fact and one that I try to advertise is that anyone can afford to go to Harvard, more than 20% of the students pay zero, the rest pay according to ability, 100% graduate debt free. Yale has similar aid available.
