Yeah I had just bleated and grunted and seen a doe in the area, turned to look the opposite way and when I turned back he was standing in the clearing looking. dropped dead in his tracks.

Drove from StFrancisville to Centerville Ms this morning to make a meat hunt. Forgot to bring a gun

Something similar happened to me once.
Drove from Metairie to Joe's Landing in Lafitte. Forgot the key ring that had the key to the boat, the shed, and the trailer hitch lock.

It's weapon of choice on private land with a primitive weapon permit. I think that started this year in Mississippi.

Bienville Parish.
Box on a big cutover.

Plentiful sunshine with a little breeze, 32°.

The dead bucks were hanging at the skinning she'd last night. However, not a lot of shooting this morning. It's been since muzzle loader season since I have whacked a deer so, either sex day for me.

Shot a doe about an hour ago. Sun was right in my face and I think I hit her high. Plenty blood but haven't located her yet.

Very nice buck!!! Good job. I've seen 3 does, a spotted fawn, bobcat that I couldn't get a good shot on and a decent 8. Still waiting on a damn cull spike!!!

Congrats man. Very nice!

Just had a big group of deer bust me. Thought it was a doe and 2 yearlings but the doe circled around behind me and caught my wind. When she trotted off with her tail up it must have been 10 other deer coming in behind her. Tails were flashing everywhere. Pretty sure that was every deer on this property
