IIRC, Brandon Harris never took a snap under center in high school. All they ran was the spread

People can't seem to get away from this binary dual-threat/pro-style paradigm. Harris is a primarily throwing QB but played exclusively in a spread/shotgun in HS. He can run but but I wouldn't call him a dual threat so to speak. Not everyone falls into the same category. Bottom line is we've been taking guys that did nothing but took snaps from the gun in high school and have tried to jam them into tight under center sets. It is critical that whoever we hire has an ability to tailor the offense to his players and their strengths, weaknesses and comfort zones
