So if Major kills it and someone comes calling for him after 2 years then the buyout is $4M? After 3 years the buyout would be $2.7M?
That's not enough to scare anyone who really wants him away from going to get him, and it is against everything they've said throughout this process.
I think the big booster being involved so heavily caused a cluster.

Exactly. That's a small buyout for a big program to pay. And they always negotiate it down.
