FYI on the Christmas lights on Politalk board

The graphic seems to behave strangely. The blue field behind the lights and letterings also brightens uniformly for certain parts of the gif, and that element looks distinct from the blue bar its nested to.

Here is the copy that works:
Last year when I did the PT lights, I was working with new software. Initially there were variances in the background color.
I believe CC & Co have accidentally loaded an older flawed copy.
