Yep, we don't need any of that stuff because we have a dedicated computer in the living room with a nice video card, plenty of RAM and multi-terabytes of storage. We don't do any streaming. We just either rip or download what we want onto hard drives and play it off the hard drives.

Are you using Plex for your local media?

You could get Plex media server for free install it on your computer and link your movies to your free account and stream all your downloaded movies through the Plex app on the fire stick or fire tv or roku
