How easy is the Mavic for a first time drone owner...was given one as a Christmas present.

Any tips?

IDK but im not a pro. But when i got my P1 i just took it slow. literally just flew in circles around my yard, around obstacles and got a feel for the sticks. i got to where i could barrel roll in manual but was never ever to pull out of it so i would just flip it back to auto.

It's extremely easy to fly. Just practice in an open field and you will have it down pretty quickly.

I let a buddy who has never done anything with RC even cars and he was flying fine after a 30 second tutorial about the controls.
