I don't know if it will. I think the people who'd be willing to pay that much are probably the same OT ballers that say they don't go to the theater anymore because of all the loud poors and youths. It'd bring back people that have already checked out of the theater system. I think a lot of the people go to the movies now are people that see it as an experience and want to get out of the house.

I heard an interview a year or so ago with a movie executive talking about getting movies released to stream shortly after being in theater. At the time the price he was throwing out there was $25.

The plan also included some of the revenue from this service going to the major theater chains in an attempt to keep them on board with showing that studio's films.
