And they aren't exclusively straight line cars anymore.

That's especially the case with the Camaro. They are clearly positioning that car to be more of a Corvette with a back seat than a muscle car.

It is sad. A V6 Camaro or Mustang has never been a more compelling choice than now.....but a big portion of the people who would want one would rather buy a damn crossover.

Exactly. Hell, even the 4-cylinder Ecoboost Mustang will blow away the muscle cars of the '70s-'80s.

kids and insurance though. You ant to have room for the kids. So you have the option of Crossover, SUV or Mini van.

Many take crossover as it's more car like.
A family of four in a sports car is impractical.

I have a Cousin with a Shelby Mustang (Air Force E-5 they must pay really good) it's a really nice car, but I prefer four doors.

If I were to buy a Muscle car it would be the Challenger Hellcat. 700HP and room for five.
