Finally, if Jones is fired, do you trust Alleva to hire his replacement?

I don't trust Alleva to breathe, let alone make a hire. That being said...we "missed the postseason" by choice last year. Didn't we? We declined an NIT invite?

who knows what will happen this year.

No way we make the Big dance this year...not by a long shot.

Both bball programs are in such pathetic shape it's not funny, and I was one who went to every game for both teams during 2003-2008.

Both coaches need to be canned and so does alleva.

1. Alleva is clueless and incompetent. He hired JJ because JJ was cheap. JJ remains among the lowest paid HC's in the SEC. JJ's teams regularly beat SEC HC's teams who get paid more than JJ.

2. LSU is NOT going to spend what it would take to get a topnotch HC. LSU would have to luck into a topnotch HC by hiring a great assistant to his first HC job. Alleva does not have the ability or patience to do that, imo. Note: Joe Alleva is a football guy not a basketball guy. He played college football.

3. If JJ can get the Tigers to finish in the top 4 of the SEC like the last two seasons, he will keep his job for another year. That's not a championship program type goal, but LSU does not care to have a championship program in MBB anymore.
