when I saw this. Oh the memories.
I was on an STM team in the early 2000s. We went 85-5-1 (6th-8th) if memory serves correctly. We got our asses kicked by John Curtis - played against Joe McKnight (RIP) as an 8th grader. I then got to watch Lutcher beat the crap out of Curtis with two dudes dunking with ease in 8th grade. I can't remember their names but they were beasts.
Derek Fife was our coach in 7th and 8th grade year. Squeaky was our 6th grade coach.
Derek ran us into the ground...other STM coach called us the track team for the number of suicides we did to end practice. Nostalgia to the max.
