If DE was graduating then sure.

I just don't understand the disdain many of you here have for the guy.
I mean did y'all watch any of the games besides Alabama this year?

He is a great kid, and busted his balls this season.

But he isnt very good, and with him playing our chances to win the title are not very good.

I have no disdain for him and think he is a serviceable QB. I dk if he is the right QB for the spread that CEO is wanting to implement.

I like that he had a 60% pass comp that is a welcome sight to have someone over 59% mark. Here is Etlings stats. Lets remember he is -2 games.

Do a game by game comparison of Etling this year, and Harris last year. The only game where Etling did better was vs TAMU, and their pass defense was 4th in the country last year compared to 97th this year.

Etling is a game manager plain and simple. Just enough accuracy, kinda mobile, average arm strength. LSU needs an upgrade badly.

Brennan (if he stays), Lindsey Scott, or JUCO Stidham if we get one of the Briles. All of those guys are playmaker types. Arm strength, mobility, or both, and played in spread offenses. LSU needs to plan for the future and start young with the best guy available.
