If your going to be making sausage include a stuffer in your budget, I'd skimp a little on the grinder and get a stuffer. LEM is a decent brand. If your by yourself or with 1 buddy a .5 horse is plenty big enough.

A stuffer is money well spent. The first time I made sausage I used the grinder to stuff the casing. I will not try that again. The grinder would put air into the casing and blow it off the tube. The stuffer has a vent that keeps allows air to escape.
