But, do you think the China (and it's place in the world) is anything like it was 30 years ago?
In Reagan's time, the place was still effectively a sealed-off third-rate economy that very well could have lost any attempt to invade Taiwan. Not the case now.
HUGE changes in the dynamic there in 30 years.
