If Randy Livingston is actually doing the game coaching, I like this team.

Talent is better than I thought, and I've always liked Randy.....Still a long ways to go and they've already had a couple of typical Johnny Jones coached terrible performances. Is Randy the game coach?

Where's Ronnie Henderson?

A new coach is needed. We get blown out by 35 (would've been worse if not for WSU subs) by WSU. We only beat North Florida by 8 (Auburn beat by 17, Miami by 38, and Florida by 31). Bad loss to VCU. Randy Livingston can't make up for lack of top notch head coach. With Jones prior record at North Texas, he would have never been a major college head coach except for his ties to LSU. You can't turn a sows ear into a silk purse!

look, I dont think Jones is a great coach by any stretch. but to blame every fricking loss on his coaching is lazy and stupid. but thats what the herd of sheep on here do.......so by all means, regurgitate. you even said you dont pay attention so maybe do post until you do

All Tard remarks aside. The Houston game was a good example of how good this team can be. The effort on D was phenomenal and led to many easy baskets.. You know what your going to get from AB he can get his shot anytime he wants. In the wins he's shot good % and will have the ball at end of clock or games. Sampson shot the lights out last game if he can shoot 40+% from 3 huge weapon. Victor is solid and really helped the front line rotation scoring and rebounding. Reath is wild card for this team at times he looks like NBA prospect o ther times not so much.. Epps much improved. If Mays and Patterson can protect the ball and keep it moving this team will play in the postseason. Try coming out and seeing how it turns out .......

I have a hard time believing CJJ turned the reigns over to anyone. Couple of coaches on the way out were pretty candid in indicating CJJ did not delegate much.
People can change but they usually don't.
I will say Reith is much better than I expected him to be, Samson is looking this year more like what I expected last year and the Houston game was about the best overall half of hoops I've seen us play since maybe the first have against OU last year.
But that's the rub, you see glimpses like this of CJJ's teams where it looks like they've been coached but it never seems to last.
I really hope it does, but what I saw last year for me tells me all I need to see from CJJ.

The last thing that LSU basketball needs when JJ is fired is another person who played for and/or coached under Dale Brown to be hired. When are you morons going to wake up and realize that these guys don't know how to coach/develop and teach the fundamentals of team basketball. Look, I loved Randy as a player but being uber talented and great player doesn't make you a great coach.
PLEASE go out and get somebody from the East Coast...
