The boykin isn't going to point, it will just flush the DD will point. The DD will cover more ground than the boykin but less than the britt or shorthair. The longer hair on the britt is more grooming.
If you are in South Louisiana and want to see shorthairs work, and possibly a britt you can make a hunt with my after woodcock season opens in a couple of weeks.

drathars(great dogs but) are gsps on meth Ive had several of each and unless you train dogs stay away from Drathars
