I mean, on some level diversity of ethnicity/culture is pretty cool. I'm lucky to work in the most diverse field as far as affluent professions go. I find having friends/colleagues who come from all over the world and getting to learn about their lives and culture fascinating. I am truly sad for people who live their whole lives at arms length from those not like them.
That being said, I would never want to work with a doctor who was less intelligent or skilled just because they add to diversity.
