He is already on track to do that now. Taking Algebra I Honors and English I Honors in 8th Grade.

I would think hard about this. I placed out of basically my entire freshman year, and I struggled carrying a tough academic load and trying to get adjusted to college life. In hindsight, I would have done better taking the regular freshman curriculum while I got my feet wet being away from home for the first time.
