What do you have, what do you like? I'm leaning towards the Ritchie 3.75 inch flush mounted super sport.

What kind of boat? I would put a different compass on a 24' Yellowfin flats boat than I would put on a 17' duck boat with an air cooled engine.

poling skiff.
Had a bulkhead mounted compass on my last boat, looking for a flush console mounted unit this time. I like the flat card on the supersport but it's probably way overkill.
