Walk into the store and get your apple TV, that's what I did an hour ago

The apps are there

Can't speak to the trial as I purchased 3 months in advance

I think I'm going to sign up for the 3 month service.

I ended up going with the 1 month prepaid and the fire stick. I'm hoping whatever Hulu comes out with blows everything else away and includes the service they already offer, so I don't want to feel obligated to stick out the three months if what Hulu has is awesome.

Did you sign up online and then go to the AT&T store?

That seems weird. I signed up for 1 month, and it said it would add the free 7 days at the end of that month. I have all of the channels though.

I'm on my computer at work and the monitors kinda suck. SO it may be my monitor but the frame rate seems below 60 when watching a espn bottom line.

Anyone on a FireTV/AppleTV seeing that?

Cool. I'm not really liking the interface on the website.

I'm a little worried about the on demand options. I looked through a few shows that we watch at my house and did not see any back episodes up yet (Walking Dead, Star Wars Rebels). I'm hoping that just means they can't offer anything that didn't actually air on the service, but Sling has back episodes of those shows available now. I guess I should have my answer in a week.

I also wasn't able to log in to Nick's website to watch old episodes from there. Selecting "Direct TV" is not sufficient. Can't do this with Sling, either, but I was hopeful.

Noticed the same thing about the ondemand episodes.

Are you on the trial? I'm thinking that could be a reason.

Also it weird that ABC isn't showing up here in Dallas since I'm pretty sure it's run by the local affiliate

Does anyone have a picture of how the guide looks?

Is it IP restricted? Can I bring my Fire TV to my moms house this weekend when I go home and visit?

Can I stream on my end in New Orleans and a friend stream on his end in the Lafayette area? I saw where 2 streams were available at a time.

I'm on fire TV and the ticker at the bottom seems smooth...not jittery and blurry like it was on vue before they updated to 60fps

I tried it out on fire stick, it's not as smooth and quick as it is on fire TV BUT, it's a hell of a lot quicker than vue on fire stick

Does not seem to be IP restricted. At my desk in New Orleans on my computer and my phone VPN'd to my house on the northshore... worked fine.

From what I'm reading, you're log in should work anywhere in the US(maybe even the world?)

Quality looks much better on Apple TV compared to the computer. Looks 1080 to me.

App is very smooth. UI for the tv guide is garbage though. I'm going to miss my Xbox one guide for cable :(

I'm wondering if they'll ever come out for an app on Xbox One/One S? Anyone know or think they will?
I use my Xbox as my main source for netflix, hulu, OTA cable, etc.

I also have an appletv and an amazon fire tv but just would prefer to use 1 system, not 2... but first world problems.
