At this point I'm not sure Alleva knew that it was within the rules to hire an NFL guy.

In the past we considered an NFL in Del Rio. So, I found it curious that there has been no mention at all of any NFL guys being considered this time around. Is Alleva that stupid or was it just stupid boosters that made this hire?
