If you're not pulling for Coach O

To succeed , then you don't deserve to be an LSU fan. While Coach O was not my first choice , there is no one I would rather win us championship more than him. He's from here , it's his dream job , he's not all about the $ He LOVES LSU. If you're hoping for him to fail just to say you were right , you have NO business being an LSU fan. Is CEO a brilliant X's and O's guy ? Of course not , does he have to be ? maybe not. Maybe he's like a Pete Carroll. He's a great recruiter. He has a great DC. If he gets a great OC and let's them do their job ( which it seems he's willing to do ) he's have Pete Carroll type of success. , So if you're pulling for CEO to fail , you truly have something wrong with you

Do you think it is possible that someone would want LSU to win and that is why they are upset with this hire? That they do not think that this is the hire to help LSU compete for and win championships.

There is a difference between "pulling" for someone to fail versus thinking that the program is on the front edge of its journey back into the college football wasteland.
I hope he succeeds, but am a long time fan and think I have seen this movie before.

Not even close to being the same. I think quite a few believed that after the 2011 championship game LM would never get us back there. That the decline was inevitable.I never wanted and never will want LSU to lose at ANYTHING just with LM losses they didn't hurt so bad because it just brought us to where I thought we needed to be , with a new HC
