Ill start - at least he has HC experience in the SEC - something neither Herman or Jimbo has. He had to have learned something from the experience and from his subsequent years.

He's a good recruiter. That's about 90% of winning in college football.

He's cheap so when we fire him we won't have a big buyout and we'll have a talented team for the next coach

He's able to learn by experience. He won't stubbornly hold on to something if it's not working. After his Ole Miss disaster, he acquitted himself well in his two interim HC stints.

Yes he isn't limited in his approach to learning like Les Miles. Les Miles was lazy & complacent nd didn't want to learn anything new because in his mind he knew more than every one else and resisted change altogether. His immediate chan ges proof the players bought in, they felt excited to compete. He also brought
in former LSU players and speakers to help motivate the players and learn from their experience. I don't think many if any of the former LSU Alumni Players were ever convinced he would bring us back to NC in his process.

He's a great recruiter, who has the ability to lock down the State. A true leader who rises above adversity after a loss and bounces back to win another game.

He's took over as Interim HC after the dismissal of LES Miles, Fired Cam Cameron and actually used his offensive philosophy mixed in with multiple spread formations to break records in 5 out of 7 games without the benefit of having an off-season, his ideal Coaching Staff, or the ability to implement a new offensive scheme.
