We go to Tiger Branch Christmas Trees in Covington; they cut them down for us, but ti's the closest thing we can get to doing it ourselves. And definitely better than the lots that truck them in and let them sit unwatered in this heat.

We have been cutting ours down for years. We love going to Christmas Memories tree farm, very nice place and not bad price. We cut ours down this afternoon, 8 1/2 ft tree for $47.

But what kind of trees are you cutting down. I really like the Frazier fir and not that other plant looking tree.
