Not trying to be a troll, but do you honestly believe that Orgeron was the absolute best hire that LSU could have possibly made?
He was the best possible coach available to Louisiana State University, a program that is a perennial top ten finisher, and a two time national champion in the 2000's?
He is the absolute best person we could have possibly found?

Well without Saban on the shortlist of hires, the losing will continue for the foreseeable future regardless of who got picked as a coach. So if you're going to lose do you want a program spending $5m a year to achieve the same result as spending $3m a year?
