Ok but orgeron was canned by ole miss and USC didn't even want him full time. The question is we're an elite job now but will we be in 2 years when we decide to fire orgeron

Les was a great guy, not a great coach. Besides the program needed to make a change.

Tell me who has beaten Bama this year?
"O" didn't fumble inside the 10 against Florida. "O" didn't botch a field goal against Florida. The players did. He didn't call the offensive plays in that game. It shows a true offensive coordinator is needed.
Not saying he is my choice for the head coaching job, but we need to be realistic here.

Agreed, Miles was fired because of a lack of offense. Putting a goose egg up to Alabama is no improvement, particularly when everyone else Bama played scored against them. We are all going to regret this decision.

Ed o is a fine coach if u wanna be 8-4 or 9-3 and play in a decent bowl game but we're lsu and a top program. If you don't make that home run hire you're at the beginning of the decline, look at what happened to Texas post Mack brown even with more resources than us and a weaker conference. In state rivals like tcu,Baylor all get better recruits and teams these days
