Serious question about Herman's clock management

Why was Houston running a hurry up offense in the red zone with less than two minutes left? He left enough time on the clock for Memphis. That just seems like a serious time management problem.

He runs the offense he runs
People get pissed bc LSU take too long to call plays and get pissed bc Hermans team scores too quick
Oh LSU fans, never change

Go back to Pierre Part TBoy. Coach O is waiting to give you an enema.

Yeah that was awful clock management. You make Memphis use their timeouts there. It was bad clock management, no doubt. You either win it or lose it on O there, but you certainly don't let Memphis get another shot with more than a minute on the clock.
Definitely shouldn't be snapping the ball with more than 5 on the play clock.
Maybe he's not ready for big time football.

Maybe the HUNH was more about exposing Memphis' defensive weakness and less about clock management
