Not arguing and have made the same point that he understands the value of recruiting. But I use good recruiter because we don't have a lot to evaluate him on.
Really doesn't matter a whole lot. He won't be the point man on recruiting. His assistants will and he obviously understands that.

he's getting solid guys to go to Houston b/c he created a marketing scheme that sold
he also needs to win, which we all think he can do.
he seems to invest a lot in recruiting, which is how you should evaluate a HC on. the ones who suck just don't value recruiting and don't put enough into it. most of recruiting is done by assistant coaches
there are no red flags at all about Herman and recruiting and tons of positive points to look at
