We have thrived as a country that adapts to changes in the economy. Rather than searching for jobs that aren't likely to come back, we should look for ways to thrive in the current environment.

Some of it. But a lot of it was NAFTA, terrible (for the working class) trade deals, corruption and graft, and the global political elite enriching themselves at the expense of workers.

No. It wasn't the natural progression. It was policies of politicians with lobbyist interests and money that caused this.

That's not the natural progression of things. That's a greedy politician. China would NOT be where they are today without the US politicians. They would be barely above north Korea.

I don't mean this personally because it's been preached for a long time. That's an ignorant statement. We created that environment due to the greed of the politicians and ceos. This wasn't something that was just happening. We created it.

There is no need for it to continue when it isn't helpful to our citizens.
