OK, lemme splain it to ya. Big govt is taxes, environmental regulations, foreign aid, globalism, take over of 1/7th of the economy with the ACA, etc.
Gay marriage effects 1 out of 10 million people. We don't care. It's not a big govt issue. Hell, the gay people I know don't want to get married.
You don't know the difference between Big Govt and your local HOA.

I mean i get what you are saying, but for the government to legislate morality it is still overstepping it's bounds. Yes, it doesn't affect Everyone but that doesn't mean that it affects no one. I'm not saying that we should sacrifice the whole country for 1/10 of the pop, but i just think it shouldn't be a zero sum game in that regard. Why can't we have both?
