I expect LSU to be a top tier program. O isn't a top tier coach. Period. He's a GREAT recruiter. He's a good defensive line coach (I think?).
Career d-line coach. Horrible failure in his only stent as a HC. Yeah, sounds like a great idea.

O has an elite skillset for teaching defensive linemen and recruiting. He's not really cut out to be a head coach.
Dude's one of the best there has ever been teaching his position, though. I'll never take that away from him. Look at the names he's had under him.
