Mrs Lynch, I have a shocking revelation for you: The more crimes you classify as "hate" crimes the higher the number of "hate" crimes you will find. Also the more you look for "hate" crimes specially the more you will find identified as such. It does not mean more crimes are being committed, just more classified to fit the narrative you are trying to create.
Similar to how the unemployment rate decreasing doesn't mean a higher percentage of able Americans are actually employed.

This I seriously doubt. There must have been changes in reporting or lack of reporting because at no time in American history have black and white people gotten together over the issue of potential Muslim threats like they did after 9/11.
