My brother and I are taking our sons to their first game at Tiger Stadium this weekend (live in Oklahoma). We are gonna be down early enough to catch the basketball game friday night. Any suggestions on the cheapest route of getting tickets to the basketball game?

I don't know the cheapest route, but there are tickets in the 200 level starting at $6 on stubhub.

ETA: Hope y'all have a good time.

Honestly, most games I just walk towards the ticket office. I have not once made it all the way without buying cheap tickets. Not really a bad seat in the house and you can move into empty ones later in the game if you want. Last season, I got 2 tickets 10 or so rows up behind the bench for $10. That was about 15 minutes before tip.

ETA: Meant to imply that I've always found cheap tickets just walking to the PMAC from the parking lot. Seemed confusing when I read it back to myself.

Two down votes concerning a post about taking two 9 year old boys to their first game at Tiger Stadium...wow.

The Rant at it's finest.

I'd check Seatgeek. It's like the Exepedia of college football tickets. Shows you all the prices after fees and whatnot.

Right on. I live right beside Ft. Smith, AR and was tempted to take my son to watch the game at Fayetteville last week. However, I wanted his first college game experience to be at Tiger Stadium. He thinks it gets loud at the local high school that packs 3,500...can't wait to see his reaction.
