Send Davis and Hield to the Lakers for Russell, Ingram, and 2017 first round pick. That's the best value that we could likely get for AD. And having our first rounder and the Lakers first rounder (likely lottery picks), we'd have 4 young players full of potential to develop a team with.

You'd get better players out of Philly or Boston.

If you haven't noticed, lakers have played well thus far and aren't a dumpster fire...keep it up and continue to grow and they're not a lottery team.

Sure, let's send our young core pieces (including our best player and one of the best players in the league) we're trying to build around now to the Lakers for less valued young players. Seriously, did you even read your post before submitting?

Yea I did actually. And we're going to have to trade AD at some point unless we want him to walk and get nothing for him.

I was actually about to post a serious trade idea of:

Pels get Noel & Casspi
Kings get Ajinca, Cunningham, Philly 2nd
Sixers get Tyreke, WCS, and future protected first

And why would the Kings do that?

I agree we will have to trade AD at some point but not within 1 year of a 5 year contract.

Cunningham is an expiring (I know it's a PO but he's decline most likely) and, by all accounts, a solid locker room guy. He would actually fit well there. They also get Casspi and WCS out who both are disgruntled. I don't know if it would be enough so maybe another 2nd would have to be tacked on for them to take Ajinca who actually fits their roster better than here with their slower pace.

I see what you're doing here, and logically it makes sense but you have to understand fans here are convinced that sooner or later one of these rebuilds we do every year is going to pan out and everyone wins.

Truth is, and it hurts them is your scenarios is right. He will leave for the same reasons Paul left. No one in upper management knows WTF they are doing and they are just throwing players at AD expecting a miracle. Every years will be the same story, throw a couple of pieces on the court and talk about what your going to do next year when you have more money.

AD is setting up to be NOLA basketballs version of Archie Manning, Only AD has a lot more say so in how long he lets it go on.

By that argument, you guys are trying to trade a top 5 player for a couple of 'potential' guys and hope they combine to even be as good as AD.

Better chance of putting a team around AD than developing two AD caliber players...

I should clarify, I'm not advocating trading AD for any particular players, I'm advocating trading him period to put his career on the best trajectory and give the Pels a tom of ammo to rebuild this team from the top of the front office down to the cleaning staff because this organization is a dumpster fire. And AD will get just as sick of mediocrity at best just like Paul and West did.

I love AD a wish he could win here but unless this organization has an epiphany and suddenly changes course on the way they are running things he'll be running for the door the first chance he gets. and I wouldn't blame him. However I'm looking at this from a Pels fan and I want to see this team win and be built to last If it happens quicker by turning AD into assets then so be it. I'd rather have a team of top 15 players than a team with the #1 player and a bunch of junk surrounding him.

But that's my point of view, I am by no meant a basketball aficionado, but I can tell when poor decision making is not being followed up by better decision making .

you literally want to turn AD and hield into a pick that doesn't exist (2017), a combo guard who is still 'okay' and nothing special, and a guy who's potential is high but floor is also very low.

NO!!!!!! I repeat No! If they were going to trade AD.. Then I would suggest AD for Embid, Saric, and a 1st rounder in 17.. I would not include Hield..
