Although the history is short, the Playoffs thus far have never included a team that hasn't won its conference.

Ohio State was in the same position basically last year and the committee didn't buy that "better resume" crap last season and they were defending champs, so why exactly would the committee buy it this year if they don't win their conference?

Lol at you trying to compare Ohio State's resumes between the past two seasons. Their only ranked win last year was a top 15 Michigan. They have a realistic shot to have 3 top 10 wins plus 1 top 15 win this year.

Absolutely but they also have never had 2 conference champs having 2 losses and there is a very good chance of that if this scenario we are even discussing were to take place

There weren't any two loss conference champs last year.
