Very true.

I look at the "malice in the palace" in '04 as a kind of line of demarcation between the "thug" NBA and the "hipster" NBA.

I remember exactly where I was that day. Funny story, maybe you heard it, but Ron Artest (frick calling him Metta World Peace) actually talks everyday to the guy who threw the beer at him.
