FOXNews is a juggernaut bro. When Glenn Beck offended with his comments, people complained, advertisers pulled away, and FOXNews pulled his plug. So yeah, I'm comparing the two.
It's a juggernaut in the cable news niche, but that pales into comparison to network television, let alone the NFL.

To put it into perspective, Glenn Beck had about 2 to 3 million viewers for his show. 2 million viewers watched the Patriots-Texans (without Tom Brady) Thursday night game ON TWITTER alone. That's not even considering the broader appeal of sports; Fox News is primarily watched by right-leaning individuals, and Glenn Beck had an even narrower appeal.

Besides the NFL is far broader than just Goodell and people don't watch the NFL for an unseen commissioner (in fact probably the opposite) with an irrational opinion.

In other words, very few people are going to stop watching their team play because a person who is already unpopular had an irrational view.

Patriots would play 1 game per week for 5 months. Glenn Beck was on 5 nights per week for 12 months of the year. Not really an apples to apples comparison. I've enjoyed the debate.
