I'm including OT recruit Austin Deculus. I'm moving Will Clapp to C to replace Pocic and I'm moving KJ Malone back inside to G. Malone could also be the backup LT if Deculus doesn't sign with us or if he's not ready to play as a freshman. What do you think? Would you make any changes?

LT
Chidi Valentine-Okeke 6-6, 312 SO
Austin Deculus 6-6, 310 FR

LG
Maea Teuhema 6-5, 315 JR
KJ Malone 6-4, 303 SR

C
William Clapp 6-5, 309 JR
Andy Dodd 6-4, 318 SR

RG
Donovaughan Campbell 6-5, 349 SO
Garrett Brumfield, 6-3, 305 JR

RT
Toby Weathersby 6-5, 302 JR
Willie Allen 6-7, 310 RSFR

Idk if Chidi is ready, Id rather KJ instead of him. Brumfield will probably start too next year.

I'd like to see Brimfield at center

Brumfield will play before campbell does.

Could be. I went back and forth on that one. I'm impressed that Campbell is already seeing the field as a true frosh. And Brumfield has played sparingly so far in his career. Of course so did Boutte, and he's having a very good senior year. In the end I'm guessing that Campbell's superior size and strength earns him the starting position.

Another option is that Andy Dodd starts at C and Will Clapp stays at OG.

I think we're fricked but hopefully our new coach won't make them move mountains.

Pretty sure KJ Malone will be starting somewhere. Either at RT or one of the guard positions. I now a lot of the fan base doesn't seem that impressed by him, but he has been a starter all year and got a lot of PT last year. He should be even better next year with a whole year of starting experience under his belt and another year in the strength and conditioning program,.

I like KJ as well, but he has been in S@C program for 4 years...I don't think he is getting much stronger.

That's what I'm thinking too. And a player his size he needs to rely on quickness and technique and I'm not sure he has the requisite quickness to be a long term starter.

I think we may see some freshmen. Coach O says we need to get bigger, stronger, and better in the OL.
