I would like to see the fed budget cut for all special projects, cut number of administrators, generally just cut federal spending so we can start paying off the deficit that the last couple of administrations have built.

Seriously, this is what I feared with Trump. Immediately starts in on Democrat policy, like stimulus.

Mass infrastructure overhaul is desperately needed across this country. And I'm not talking about highways.

Bridges are crumbling (literally), airports desperately need to be updated, and highspeed rail (which I am a fan of and can't wait for the TX one to get started).

It has been proven and shown overtime that spending a billion dollars to stretch what was once a 3 line highway to 6 lanes to alleviate traffic congestion does not work. See I10 in Houston. Build commuter rails, and make them convenient and easy for people to access and they WILL be used and embraced.
