Basic math suggests our national debt will grow, even compared to its growth rate during Obama's tenure. And ... to be clear ... this is something that you guys complained about for eight years.
So what gives? You guys are being completely inconsistent. That's not a "smartass" comment, that's an astute observation.

How does it not sound like FDR? Does the TVA ring a bell? What do you think FDR did? It isn't a gotcha moment. I'm drawing a valid historical parallel.
Trump is going to spend, spend, spend. And cut taxes. Something has to give. You clearly have no answers to that basic question.

He has. He plans a hiring freeze for federal agencies and will let it shrink through attrition.
He's all about better deals.. and there is serious fat to trim in the military.
