The popular vote myth

The talking point being developed is that Trump has no mandate because he did not win the popular vote. This is coming from a party who's leadership encouraged illegal aliens to register and vote. Hillary won California by 2.5 million votes. All that is needed to register to vote in the state of California is a driver liscense. When you back out the illegal participation throughout all 50 states, Trump wins the popular vote by at least 3 million votes, maybe much more.
This has to be fixed before the next election cycle.....we need implementation of voter ID laws on day one of The Trump presidency. Illegal aliens cannot be permitted to select our president

Trump won here in North Carolina and all you need is to know how to spell your name and your home address.
The electoral system is established so that the election isn't won/lost in a series of 3 or 4 states.
Donald steamrolled Clinton via electoral votes and won all of the battleground states. If that system were to ever change to just the popular vote, everyone not living in California, Texas, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York would be left in the cold even more than they are now by the establishment.

How dirty would elections be if it were about the popular vote anyway? Big cities would be even more corrupt than they already are.

Still shocked he won NC under these corrupt conditions. He's a legend.

mandate
Just a word that losers like to use to make themselves feel better after getting it handed to them.

The Republicans here passed a voter ID law, but it got struck down because it, according to the SCOTUS, targeting minorities with "surgical precision."
I think it's silly that you aren't even required to have some sort of identification other than saying "Yes, I swear that I am John Doe and I live at 123 Main Street."

In MN, you can literally show up at any voting location, get an already registered voter to vouch that you do live in the precinct, and vote away. And, that already registered voter may have just registered 30 seconds before you, using pretty loose requirements to establish their own residence. And they can vouch for up to 8 people at once.
The one piece of voter fraud I almost called out yesterday was overhearing someone asking a student they obviously didn't know their address and other stuff so they could vouch for them. (The "voucher" made a comment about helping them make history. Infer what you will about their vote.) I think they caught me taking notice and abandoned the plan. If they had tried, I was prepared to take it up with the head judge at the station.
