Not e'thing Freeze does is right but his approach on O torments Saban. In the last two games vs Bama, OM has scored 43 pts 2X and amassed 954 yds. In the last two years, we have scored 16 pts with 307 yds of O.

Is there a reason we can't adopt their model on offense?

I know CEO said he prefers a pro-style offense. That's ok. It works every Lord's Day. But it only works against pro-style DL if you have pro-style OL and/or a really capable QB. We have neither. And we're realistically about 2 years away at the earliest.

A less talent intensive way is how OM is doing it. (Is it not mind numbing to think that we declined to even recruit Chad Kelly?).

It helps when your QB is mobile and can actually throw the deep ball. Kelly is light years better than Etling will ever be IMO.

A lot of what ifs, but we could be 8-0 right now with a QB like him at the helm.
I'm not a fan but respect #10 game

There are plenty of pro teams that use shotgun formations. That's all we needed to do problem was we used it on 3rd and 10 or worse but if we would've used it on 1st down to set up better 2nd and 3rd situations we could've done something. If you go back and watch the game it was our most effective formation.

I've said it countless times, Ole Miss probably has the best passing attack in the country, Chad Kelly with the recieving core we have is by far top 5 in the country. LSU just doesn't have that...

It's not simply "getting our asses kicked" nor is it simply OL talent (OM's OL Isnt 43 points better than LSU's). Nor can it be solely attributed to QB talent--recall even with Mett and NFL skill talent, LSU topped out at 17 points. Year after year after year, LSU has zero offensive success against Bama even while some other teams do.

It's the scheme. The philosophy. It will never work against Bama. Lord knows LSU keeps trying. The only offenses to give Bama trouble lately--Oklahoma, Ohio St, Clemson, Ole Miss, Texas AM--do not run the puckered a-hole LSU offense.

Ole Miss is a pass first offense with an accurate QB. LSU is a power rushing offense with a mediocre QB. Alabama is geared to shut down the run, and LSU has nothing else in the bag. It's how we matchup with Bama.
We have to remember this is still a Miles offense.
