Explain how LF has any case for improving his draft stock.
You may be right. But like I said earlier: the Bama D-Line is as close to an NFL defense as Leonard has ever (or will ever) see in CFB. And, he hasn't done so well against them.
I'm no scout, but to my uneducated eye that's something to consider. Then there's the injury. Playing with injuries is a given in the big leagues. While LF7 has played through that injury and run through defenses that couldn't stop a faucet from running (Hi there Ole Piss, nice to see you!), he hasn't fared well against a defense that looks like an NFL line (with or without the injury).
He's a once in a generation player at his position, no doubt. But don't for a minute think that there aren't things that could be improved on to make him a sure-fire lock for the top draft pick.
But this is all conjecture, too. He'll go to the draft, or he won't. He'll make that choice for his own reasons regardless of what the rest of us think.
I'm just asking a simple question - what if he chooses to stay? Might be a long shot, but if he does wouldn't that have a pretty big impact on our team?
