re: Fresh Pickins in Lafayette.

I don't buy any refrigerated tomatoes since that ruins them. I will only eat a tomato now if someone gives me a fall tomato out of their garden and a few people still have some. I can never get a fall tomato to do well. I eat them fresh all spring and summer from my garden or friends or occasionally a fruit stand if it is local and can as many as I can for getting me through the winter. Or I'll buy canned if I run out.
